Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who became a household name in the world of television after she was cast as Alex on One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The first three albums she released as a country artist were featured on episodes of the show, which helped her debut album of the same name in the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to in the Top Ten. The singer ended the decade by appearing in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, the album The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, fell in love with country music. Then she decided to pursue an acting career. Her first role as an actress in the film Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still just a teen. Her appearances were in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 for the character of Portia Randson from 2008-2009, and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's cast with the character Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until the middle of the last season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I I Won't Let You Go" during the show's episode. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was released on her debut complete album Jana Kramer. It climbed to number 5 in the Billboard Top Country Albums. Then, she focused her acting career on performing in movies including Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made her album make it to the top ten of the Billboard 200. In September of 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th place final. This was also the season that she scored an adult-contemporary hit, with Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
